Ryan is an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation, insurance, and construction practice groups. Based in Chicago, he is admitted to practice in Illinois and Kentucky and brings nearly a decade of experience handling complex civil litigation matters.
Ryan has extensive experience representing clients in insurance defense, construction litigation, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and subrogation matters. He has served as primary handling attorney on cases from inception through resolution, managing litigation strategy, conducting discovery, drafting motions and pleadings, and representing clients in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and pre-trial proceedings.
Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, Ryan represented condominium, townhome, and homeowners’ associations in a wide range of disputes, and previously handled high-exposure litigation matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, employer liability, and products liability claims. His background includes successfully drafting and arguing dispositive motions, achieving favorable outcomes in mediations and arbitrations, and managing complex, multi-party litigation.
