Makayla is an associate in the firm’s Mass Tort/Toxic Tort, Products Liability, and Real Estate practice groups.
Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, Makayla served as a law clerk for the Honorable Lucinda E. Jesson of the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Makayla graduated summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. While in law school, Makayla served as Treasurer of the Rosalie E. Wahl Legal Association of Women Students (LAWS) and volunteered with the Minnesota Justice Foundation Street Law Program. She also worked part-time throughout law school as a criminal defense law clerk in both the public and private sector.
Makayla holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance and a minor in Business Law from the University of Minnesota where she graduated with High Distinction and earned a spot on the Dean’s List.
In her free time, Makayla enjoys watching sports, reading, creative writing, and spending time at her family’s cabin in Ontario.
