Khaled’s diverse experience spans insurance law, civil litigation, and advocacy for civil rights. He has successfully assisted partners in defending against fraudulent claims and in cases involving catastrophic injuries.
Khaled brings a unique perspective gained from his prior experience defending insureds as an in-house attorney for some of the largest carriers in the United States, as well as his prior experience in private practice.
Beyond his insurance defense experience, Khaled has completed externships with the Council on American Islamic Relations and Legal Services of Northern California. During these roles, he contributed to immigration applications, civil rights intakes, and social security benefits cases.
Khaled earned a J.D. from Willamette University College of Law, where he served as President of the Multicultural Law Student Association, assisting in the creation of a program to mentor first-year students and organizing diversity speaker seminars. He also holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies from the University of Oregon, including certificates in Public Policy and Sustainability and has experience studying the Arabic language abroad in Amman, Jordan.
Outside the office, Khaled enjoys watching soccer matches, exploring the many trails of San Jose, and spending time with his family.
