Dillon is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on insurance coverage, commercial litigation, environmental matters, and other complex civil disputes. He represents clients in state and federal courts nationwide and advises on coverage issues, contract disputes, and other high-stakes matters. He helps clients navigate disputes efficiently while protecting their interests through practical, results-oriented advocacy.
Dillon earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign-Urbana and is admitted to practice in Illinois, Minnesota, and Nebraska. He grew up in Nebraska and completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees through the University of Nebraska system.
Before relocating to Minneapolis and joining the firm, Dillon practiced in Chicago and Omaha, where he litigated a wide range of matters, including insurance coverage, property damage and subrogation, intellectual property, products liability, and other business disputes. This breadth of experience enables him to develop effective strategies for resolving complex disputes efficiently and successfully.
In addition to his client work, Dillon has served as the firm’s captain for the Associates’ Campaign for Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, reflecting his commitment to supporting access to justice and community initiatives. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Morris Park Players community theater.
Outside of the office, Dillon enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors, whether running, biking, hiking, or exploring the city in search of new parks, playgrounds, and ice cream spots with his daughters.
