Caroline is an associate attorney in the firm’s family law practice group, where she works with clients on a range of family law matters. She helps clients navigate complex and sensitive disputes with a practical, thoughtful approach. She prioritizes clear communication and active listening to build a partnership with her clients and guide them through life’s difficult moments.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Christy Snow-Kaster in Family Court of the Fourth Judicial District Court of Minnesota. In this clerkship, Caroline worked closely with Referee Snow-Kaster to draft Orders following court hearings, including key factors that the Court considered in its decision, and researched relevant legal issues. She also practiced family law at a prominent law firm in Chicago, where she handled a variety of family law and domestic abuse matters and appeals, particularly for high net-worth clients in the Chicago area.
Caroline earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, where she received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship. Having developed an interest in family law in her first year of law school, Caroline focused her law school curriculum on family law and took advanced family law courses to further her education in the field. DePaul University College of Law offers a top-tier family law program which focuses on child advocacy, divorce, and domestic issues. This specialized knowledge helps Caroline serve clients through some of life’s most consequential legal issues.
Additionally, during law school, she:
- Was an inaugural member of the Croak Community Legal Clinic;
- Worked as a law clerk for a family law firm; and
- Volunteered as a student attorney at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
She earned her B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in Child Studies, from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Outside of her legal practice, Caroline enjoys attending Vikings games, participating in a monthly book club, and spending time with friends and her cat, Norma.
