MINNEAPOLIS, MN (August 12, 2009) – Charles E. Spevacek, Stacy A. Broman and Jennifer E. Ampulski have been named Fellows of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of lawyers in the U.S. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are chosen based upon effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Ms. Ampulski focuses her practice on complex civil litigation involving products liability, catastrophic loss, and commercial litigation. She has tried thirteen jury and bench trials, and defended multi-million dollar product-liability and fire/catastrophic-loss claims involving serious personal injuries, business interruption, lost profits, and property damage. Ms. Broman focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation where she defends insurers in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Mr. Spevacek is one of the senior lawyers in the firm’s insurance practice area, and serves on the firm’s management committee. He has more than twenty-nine years experience litigating complex commercial cases nationwide, with particular emphasis on the trial and appeal of insurance coverage disputes.
