Meagher + Geer announces that Samuel Ring has joined the firm’s Insurance, Insurance – Bad Faith, Insurance Coverage, and Insurance – Reinsurance practice groups.

Samuel graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, Samuel served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Robert E. Bacharach of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. He was a member of the Entrepreneurial Legal Clinic, served as the Pre-Law Chair of the Latin American Law Students Association, and served as a Judging Assistant for the Board of Advocates. Samuel finished in the final four of the OU Law 1L moot court competition, being recognized as a distinguished speaker, and was then recruited to compete in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition, making it to the Semi-Finals. He also served as an Advisor for the United Nations Committee on Elimination of Racial Discrimination and as a researcher for the International Human Rights Clinic.

Samuel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin La-Crosse where he earned a spot on the Dean’s List and was awarded the Joseph P. Heim Scholarship.

Outside the office, Samuel enjoys to spend time with family and friends, enjoys being active by weightlifting and running, and loves music—being an avid drummer since childhood.
