Meagher + Geer is proud to welcome Chanel M. Patrick as an associate in our commercial litigation, construction, corporate, employment, insurance, intellectual property, and professional liability practice groups. She brings extensive experience in civil litigation, business law, and regulatory compliance, having represented individuals, businesses, and government entities across a broad range of matters.

Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, managed her own law practice, handling complex civil litigation from inception through resolution. She has successfully defended claims exceeding $1 million, led municipal prosecutions, and managed all phases of trial advocacy, discovery, and high-value settlement negotiations.

Chanel earned her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she served as the President of the Intellectual Property Society and Trademark Moot Court team. Her undergraduate studies took place at the University of Missouri, where she earned a B.A. in Communications with a minor in Political Science.

Outside the office, Chanel enjoys cooking, traveling, binge watching tv series, and going on adventures with family and friends.
