Meagher + Geer is proud to welcome Amanda Peters as an associate in our commercial litigation, corporate, and insurance practice groups. Amanda brings a wealth of experience in supporting litigation matters from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Before joining Meagher + Geer, Amanda worked at a personal injury law firm, where she managed all aspects of litigation, drafted motions and memoranda, prepared settlement demands, and communicated directly with clients regarding strategy and case status. She is also adept at collaborating with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to facilitate dispute resolution.

Amanda holds a J.D. from UIC (formerly John Marshall) Law School and has earned dual bachelor’s degrees in English and Philosophy from Illinois State University. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, fishing, hiking, softball, and spending time with her family. She also loves tackling home renovation projects.
