We provide rapid-response client service and defense for owner-operators and manufacturers facing catastrophic losses related to fires, explosions, structural collapses and system failures in manufacturing, power generation and distribution, hazardous waste chemical processing, pharmaceutical plants, mining operations, refineries, and agribusiness.

Russ Melton (partner), is a qualified nuclear engineer with the United States Navy, Westinghouse, and General Electric. He has his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, and his undergraduate degree in Metallurgical Engineering, together with graduate work in Human Factors Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Russ was an adjunct professor at the Institute of Technology, University of Minnesota. For more than fifteen years he has held Martindale-Hubbell’s AV® Peer Review Rating, designating the highest level of professional excellence.

Joshua Iverson (associate), received his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota (1995) and his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law, (2003). Josh was a practicing engineer and a construction project manager for several years before embarking on his legal career.

Darren Hepper (associate) received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering, summa cum laude, from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota (2005). Darren previously worked as a Product Development Engineer at 3M Corporation and with Dow Corning Corporation as a Process Development Engineer.
