Laura Hanson is the author of an article for Claims Magazine entitled “Clear as Mud? Absolute Pollution Exclusion Isn’t So Absolute.” The article discusses the difference in how courts apply the absolute pollution exclusion in coverage disputes litigated in the traditional environmental arena, versus disputes involving indoor or non-traditional discharges of pollution. Laura is a partner at Meagher & Geer whose practice focuses on commercial coverage litigation. She has also been appointed vice chair for the 2008 meeting of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the American Bar Association.
