Ariel is an associate in our Anti-fraud Counseling Litigation group, which provides legal counsel on a full range of matters including property loss, healthcare provider fraud, and misrepresentation. She aids in the investigative work of finding fraud, abuse, and misrepresentations, and assists in trial preparation.
Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, Ariel was a Certified Student Attorney working on behalf of Indian criminal defendants in Menominee Tribal Court. As a Certified Student Attorney, Ariel represented criminal defendants at all stages of their case including arraignments, pre-trial meetings, plea negotiations, and trial. During this time, Ariel gained significant experience researching and drafting motions based upon complicated federal, state, and tribal laws.
Ariel received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in 2011, and her Juris Doctor summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law in 2015. During her time at William Mitchell, Ariel participated in the National Native American Law Student Association Moot Court competition, she was a Volume 41 Law Review Staff Member, and she received multiple honors including several semesters on the Dean’s list and a CALI Excellence Award in Federal Indian Law.
