Meagher + Geer announces that Andrew Case has joined the firm’s  Professional Liability – Heath Care practice group.

Prior to joining the firm Andrew clerked on the Minnesota Court of Appeals for the Honorable Diane Bratvold and the Honorable Theodora Gaïtas. He previously clerked for the Honorable Robert Awsumb in the Second Judicial District on both criminal and civil assignments.

Andrew received his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas in 2014 before he attended law school. While studying at St. Thomas, he was involved in the Business Law Society and volunteering through the Volunteer Lawyers Network, Junior Achievement, and a non-profit law firm. Following graduation, Andrew worked in two Minneapolis law firms as a legal assistant and paralegal until his first year of law school.

Andrew earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he focused much of his studies on advanced advocacy, served on the editorial board for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review, and competed as a member of the Mitchell Hamline Mock Trial Team. He completed the Expert Witness Training Academy workshop, served as an Associate Editor and then Head Managing Editor on law review, and he competed in the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association annual competition. Aside from school and extracurricular activities, Andrew helped prosecute criminal cases as a student attorney in two local county attorney offices throughout law school.
