Meagher & Geer is pleased to announce that Leatha Wolter has been elected to the firm’s Management Committee to serve a five-year term. Leatha is also the lead partner of Meagher & Geer’s Anti-Fraud Counseling & Litigation practice group which has handled thousands of cases over the past decade.

For more than 25 years, Leatha has concentrated on counseling insurers and other clients on strategies designed to address internal and external fraud – strategies that encompass prevention as well as the handling, investigation, and litigation of fraudulent claims. She has received several awards and honors, including being named a 2015 “Attorney of the Year” by Minnesota Lawyer. She has been included in the Minnesota Super Lawyers® list since 2007, and has been awarded the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, AV® Preeminent ™.

Leatha is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, the Minnesota Anti-Vehicle Crime Association and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. She is a former adjunct faculty member at William Mitchell College of Law.
