The Health Care Group is committed to serving health care professionals. The largest component of our practice is defending physicians in medical malpractice lawsuits. No law firm in Minnesota handles more medical malpractice litigation, including trials, than Meagher & Geer.

We also represent hospitals, clinics and long term care facilities, and their employees, as well as other health care professionals, including nurses, dentists, psychologists, chiropractors, optometrists, pharmacists and podiatrists. We believe it's our job to insulate our clients as much as we possibly can from the day-to-day disruptions of a pending lawsuit, allowing them to focus on what they do best – taking care of their patients.

Additionally we have significant experience representing health care professionals in administrative proceedings involving licensure and practice privileges.
