Cecilie
M.
Loidolt
Main Biography
Cecilie Loidolt is a partner with 19 years experience defending medical providers. She has tried numerous cases to a jury and has handled many high-exposure medical malpractice cases. Recently, she successfully defended medical providers involved in the care of an unimmunized child who ultimately succumbed to meningitis.
In recognition of her successful practice, Cecilie is regularly named a Super Lawyer® by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine in the category of medical malpractice defense. The same publication lists her as one of the Top 100 Women Super Lawyers. She is also named among The Best Lawyers in America in the area of medical malpractice.
Recently, Cecilie was inducted as a Fellow into the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) – an invitation-only honor society that limits its membership to the top 0.5 percent of trial lawyers in America. Fellows are selected on the basis of effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and superior ethical reputation.
Successful defense of a medical malpractice case often depends on the presentation of complex medical science in a way that is easily understood by jurors. Because of her experience in this area, Cecilie was recently asked to address the LCA membership on the electronic presentation of evidence to a jury. She is a frequent speaker on the subject of healthcare professional liability – to lawyers as well as clients. Cecilie also uses her legal and medical knowledge and courtroom skill to defend clients who face pharmaceutical and medical device litigation.
